Harley Ryder and Sara's Hand were slow to begin.
She's So Lovable was galloped on by Rio Lily and subsequently lost ground. Underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have right carpal sprain. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Begonia Bell made contact with the running rail. Underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
There was no head-on vision in the home straight for this event.
