Steward's Report
The greyhound Run Baba Run was presented to Stewards at Traralgon today after the weight recorded at the greyhound’s previous event (Whelping Satisfactory Trial) at Geelong on 14 November 2023 appeared to be erroneously recorded into FastTrack. After being identified and weighed on–site and referring to the Stewards report from Geelong on 14 November 2023, it was established that the weight recorded into FastTrack for the satisfactory trial at Geelong on 14 November 2023 was incorrect, and it would be unreasonable to not rectify the matter. Under the provisions of GAR 100(1), the Stewards deemed it necessary to make such order that 26.7kg will be officially recorded as the correct weight for Run Baba Run's satisfactory trial on 14 November 2023.
Cool Stone and Scooby Goes Bang were quick to begin.
Run Baba Run (contaced the running rail in the back straight, faltered and lost considerable ground) - underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
There was no head-on vision avaliable in the home straight for this event.
