Steward's Report
A pre race sample was taken from Saint Gas - the winner of the event.
Saint Gas and McThumpa were quick to begin. Tear Away Minnie and Sinking Ship were slow to begin. Three Card Trick and Macburner collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Meadow View and Cosmic Buddy collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Macburner checked off Cosmic Buddy approaching the home turn severely checking Tear Away Minnie. Sinking Ship and McThumpa collided on the home turn.
Tear Away Minnie was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a graze to the right hind leg. No stand down period was imposed.
Three Card Trick was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triangle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
