Mikayla Lee checked off Pin Wheel approaching the home turn checking Tommy Winslow. Pin Wheel checked off Chief Winslow entering the home straight. Chief Winslow and Deadly Viking raced wide in the home straight. Pin Wheel and Miss Beccy collided several times in the home straight causing Miss Beccy to become unbalanced as a result.

Stewards spoke to R. Raven regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Mikayla Lee. Stewards directed that Mikayla Lee be boxed first in future events. 

Orange Fisheggs was quick to beign. Charlie Pearce, Mini Jet Mal, Spa El Jay and My Boy Charlie were slow to begin. 

Mini Jet Mal and Spa El Jay collided soon after the start checking Spa El Jay. Blue Suede Girl and Parlamo collided approaching the first turn checking Parlamo. Mini Jet Mal checked off Parlamo approaching the first turn causing Mini Jet Mal to contact the running rail as a result. Mini Jet Mal and Spa El Jay collided approaching the home turn. Spa El Jay and My Boy Charlie collided approaching the home turn.

Mini Jet Mal was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury. 

Baroness Jill was a late scratching at 17.16pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to illness. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

J. Sheahan, trainer of Noonan's Unit redeclared a new weight of 28.6kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 32(2). Noonan's Unit last raced at 29.8kgs.

John Maple, trainer of Dollar Spot redeclared a new weight of 31.6kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Dollar Spot last raced at 29.6 kg.

Cobalt Mist crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Sir Lenny. Levi's Hurican and Hashtag Jordan collided soon after the start. Go Jacko Go, Lynlaw Zane and Sir Lenny collided on the first turn severely checking Sir Lenny and Go Jacko Go. Go Jacko Go and Sir Lenny collided entering the back straight checking both greyhounds. Arrow Head faltered in the back straight. Cobalt Mist checked off Levi's Hurrican approaching the home turn. Twirly Bird and Lynlaw Zane collided approaching the home turn. Cobalt Mist checked off Hashtag Jordan approaching the home turn. Sir Lenny checked off Lynlaw Zane entering the home straight. Cobalt Mist checked off Levi's Hurrican entering the home straight checking Hashtag Jordan. Go Jacko Go veered in and marred the running of Sir Lenny in the home straight resulting in Sir Lenny being checked. 

Arrow Head was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right wrist and sand burn to both hind paws. A 28 day stand down period was imposed. 

Go Jacko Go was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

Stewards spoke to A. Sacco, the trainer of Go Jacko Go regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Go Jacko Go with marring. A. Sacco pleaded guilty to the charge, Go Jacko Go was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Eumeralla Danny was slow to begin. 

Eumeralla Danny and Ruthless Stagger collided soon after the start checking Planetman. Planetman and Bet Bet May collided soon after the start. Prince Shak and Paramount Arrow collided approaching the first turn checking Paramount Arrow. Ruthless Stagger, Prince Shak and Sootette collided approaching the first turn checking Prince Shak. Prince Shak, Sootette and Planetman collided on the first turn checking Planetman and Sootette. Paramount Arrow checked off Bet Bet May approaching the home turn. Super Leggera was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left pencil muscle, left quadriceps and left triangle muscle. A 28 day stand down period was imposed. 

Wizard Of Offaly and Danny Brook were slow to begin. 

Cosmic Ali checked off Spider Silva approaching the first turn. Why Not Lucy, Miss Yang and Spider Silva collided approaching the first turn checking Miss Yang and Why Not Luke and severely checking Why Not Lucy. Spider Silva checked off All Mighty One approaching the first turn. Wizard Of Offaly checked off Miss Yang approaching the first turn. Why Not Luke, Danny Brook and Miss Yang collided approaching the home turn checking Danny Brook, Miss Yang and Wizard Of Offaly. Danny Brook and Why Not Luke collided in the home straight. 

Stewards spoke to E. Vigor regarding her difficulty in boxing the greyhound Cosmic Ali. Stewards directed that Cosmic Ali be boxed first in future events.

Faint Glimpse and Kiltanon Fagan collided soon after the start. Twisted Outlaw, Fos Newman and Arvo's Joy collided approaching the first turn checking Fos Newman. Twisted Outlaw checked off Arvo's Joy on the first turn. Faint Glimpse galloped on the heels of Kiltanon Fagan approaching the home turn checking Kiltanon Fagan, Faint Glimpse, Saint Gas, Sunset Magic and Arvo's Joy. Faint Glimpse and Twisted Outlaw collided on the home turn checking Faint Glimpse and Saint Gas. Sunset Magic and Twisted Outlaw collided in the home straight checking Twisted Outlaw.
