Tribal Faith and May It Be collided soon after the start checking Tribal Faith.  Sardia and Alexis Kelton collided soon after the start. Mademoiselle Sox, May It Be, Mahjong King and Alexis Kelton collided on the first turn checking Tribal Faith and May It Be.  Fiorelli Micha, Sardia and Aston Josh collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds.  May It Be checked off Mademoiselle Sox entering the front straight.  Sardia and Aston Josh collided approaching the second turn.  Sardia faltered on the second turn and tailed off as a result.  Fiorelli Micha and Mademoiselle Sox collided approaching the third turn severely checking Mademoiselle Sox which raced wide as a result.  May It Be and Fiorelli Micha collided on the fourth turn.

Sardia was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 3, it was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to it's left monkey muscle, shoulder, wrist, pectoral and hip soreness.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Alexis Kelton, the winner of the event.

Uno Whirl and Dyna Keitaro collided soon after the start.  Dyna Keitaro and Busta Voe collided approaching the first turn.  Dyna Norfolk, Dyna Keitaro, Busta Voe and Emrys collided on the first turn severely checking Busta Voe.  Busta Voe and Uno Whirl collided on the first turn.  Dyna Norfolk and Johnny Mobster collided approaching the second turn checking Johnny Mobster.  Emrys checked off Johnny Mobster on the second turn.  Noaki Bomber stumbled entering the back straight.  Uno Whirl and Noaki Bomber collided on the third turn checking Uno Whirl.

Dyna Norfolk was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained grazing to the inside of it's left foreleg.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Busta Voe was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to it's right pencil muscle.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Classy Boy and Hession Boots collided soon after the start checking Classy Boy.  He Isn't Really, Echelonic Action, Smart Maxwell and Hession Boots collided on the first turn checking He Isn't Really and Echelonic Action and severely checking Smart Maxwell and Hession Boots.  Proven Bolt and Tekki Minx collided on the first turn.  He Isn't Really and Echelonic Action collided entering the front straight.  Proven Bolt and Tekki Minx collided approaching the second turn.  Proven Bolt checked off Classy Boy entering the back straight.  Proven Bolt crossed to the outside on the fourth turn and collided with Hession Boots as a result.

Proven Bolt was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to it's left shoulder and right wrist.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Hession Boots was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Ibrox Digger was quick to begin.  Dyna Geldof, Left Is Right and Galahad collided soon after the start.  Strange Wish checked off Babylon Club soon after the start.  Babylon Club, Veyron Bale, Galahad and Left Is Right collided approaching the first turn checking Strange Wish.  Dyna Geldof and Strange Wish collided on the first turn.  Left Is Right, Galahad, Veyron Bale and Babylon Club collided on the first turn severely checking Babylon Club, Veyron Bale, Perfect Tess, Dyna Geldof, Strange Wish and Galahad; Galahad stumbled and tailed off as a result.

Galahad was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to it's left shoulder and right pencil muscle.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Lou Todd, Allen Eryk, Flying Twist and Wind Whistler were slow to begin.  Lou Todd and Allen Eryk collided on the first turn.  Wind Whistler checked off Kiltah Magic in the front straight.  Lou Todd and Wind Whistler collided on the second turn.  Lou Todd, Kiltah Magic and Wind Whistler collided approaching the third turn.  Lou Todd and Kiltah Magic collided on the fourth turn.

Eliza Blanche was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to it's left foot.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Samples were taken from the first four placegetters in the event - Awesome Project (1st), Joey Valdez (2nd), Flying Twist (3rd) and Eliza Blanche (4th).

Survivor checked off Julie Bale on the first turn and collided with Just Ducal.  Maverick Bomber and Julie Bale collided on the second turn checking Reap The Benefit and Lady Toy; Reap The Benefit and Lady Toy raced wide as a result.  Maverick Bomber, Reap The Benefit and Lady Toy collided approaching the third turn and again on the fourth turn checking Maverick Bomber.  Reap The Benefit checked off Lady Toy entering the back straight.

Matlin's Tornado was vetted following event 7.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a torn right dew claw.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Dyna Kayla, Blinker's On, Big Kat and Nockabout Aussie collided soon after the start.  Sonic Pirate and Nockabout Aussie collided in the front straight and again approaching the second turn.

Samples were taken from the first three placegetters in the event - Ralphy Cinel (1st), Blinker's On (2nd) and Nockabout Aussie (3rd)

Stewards aborted taking a sample from the greyhound Big Kat after noting the following :

 - On two attempts some foreign matter had inadvertantly entered the sample pot during the collection process.

 - A subsequent attempt to take a sample was also aborted after an imperfection was detected in the sample bag kit being used. 

Humphrey Bale and Papa Hook collided soon after the start.  Ollie Bale, Humphrey Bale and Papa Hook collided approaching the first turn checking Humphrey Bale.  Top Secret and Dyna Yemen collided several times approaching the first turn checking Top Secret.  Dyna Yemen and Ollie Bale collided on the third turn checking Ollie Bale.  Ollie Bale and Top Secret collided approaching the home turn.  Dyna Yemen and Buckle Up Mason collided on the home turn checking Dyna Yemen.  Humphrey Bale and Papa Hook collided entering the home straight.

Ollie Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Pappa Gallo, Starc, Cosmic Wise and Hekate Belle were slow to begin.  Starc, Cosmic Wise and Hekate Belle collided soon after the start.  Pappa Gallo, Starc, Cosmic Wise, Hekate Belle and Oscura collided on the first turn.  Oscura and Skyfire collided entering the front straight.  Lamia Bale and Dyna Glinda collided entering the front straight.  Dyna Glinda and Skyfire collided on the third turn.  Cosmic Wise and Hekate Belle collided on the third turn.  Starc and Cosmic Wise collided on the third turn checking Hekate Belle.  Oscura faltered entering the back straight and tailed off. Dyna Glinda and Starc collided on the home turn.  

Oscura was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a broken right hock.  The greyhound was humanely euthanised.

Samples were taken from the first three placegetters in the event - Lamia Bale (1st), Skyfire (2nd) and Starc (3rd).

Bunga Bunga and Genghis Kahn collided soon after the start.  Tiggerlong Amigo, Dyna Nihlist, Frank Furter and Ride The Rails collided approaching the first turn checking Dyna Nihlist and Frank Furter.  Frank Furter and Bunga Bunga collided on the first turn checking Frank Furter. Genghis Kahn raced wide approaching the second turn.  Frank Furter and Bunga Bunga collided on the second turn.  Tiggerlong Amigo and Dyna Nihlist collided on the third turn.

Margins and Duomo Bale were slow to begin.  Fearsome Mint, Duomo Bale, Quasi Bale and Fearless John collided approaching the first turn checking Duomo Bale and Quasi Bale.  Thursday Sip, Margins, Duomo Bale and Quasi Bale collided on the first turn severely checking all four greyhounds; Quasi Bale fell as a result.  Thursday Sip and Margins collided approaching the second turn.  Hilda's Best checked off Fearless John on the third turn.

Quasi Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Lissa Breen and Destini Lobo were slow to begin.  Bottom Dollar and Deadly Clear collided soon after the start.  Lissa Breen, Destini Lobo, Her Highness and Bayman Bale collided soon after the start.  Fleetwood Storm and Deadly Clear collided approaching the first turn.  Bottom Dollar checked off Deadly Clear on the first turn checking Lissa Breen and Destini Lobo and severely checking Her Highness.  Fleetwood Storm checked off Bayman Bale entering the back straight.

Stewards adjourned an inquiry into an alleged verbal altercation in the kennel area after Race 10 involving licensed persons, Mr. J. Borg and Mr. B. Divirgilio to a date to be fixed.
