Mission's Pride was slow to begin. Louisiana Lil and Fantasy Lisa collided soon after the start checking Louisiana Lil. Veetee Angel, Just A Dot and Noonbarra Joe collided soon after the start checking Veetee Angel. Jordy's Girl raced wide approaching the home turn.
Veetee Angel was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both monkey muscles, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
