Lynlaw Amy and Coco Pop Kid were slow to begin. Maxi Taxi and Parlamo collided soon after the start. Uncontrollable, Girrawarra Magic, Star Vapour and Maxi Taxi collided at the 300m mark. Maxi Taxi and Parlamo collided at the 250m mark. Star Vapour and Lynlaw Amy collided at the 100m mark, checking Star Vapour.
Girrawarra Magic was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left shoulder, left triceps and l metacarpal, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
