Galloping Mich, Fiorelli Micha and Elizabeth Two were slow to begin. Mahjong King and Aston Josh collided approaching the first turn. Aston Josh and Fiorelli Micha collided on the first turn. Galloping Mich, Wave Action and Elizabeth Two collided on the first turn checking Elizabeth Two and Aston Josh and severely checking Wave Action; Wave Action lost ground in the back straight as a result. Cromis galloped on the heels of Galloping Mich approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.
Wave Action was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
