Steward's Report
Stetson Surprize was a late scratching at 3:18pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. M. Teresi was fined the sum of $100.
Lup Chong and Vizzari were quick to begin. Nitro Princess and Spring Hombre were slow to begin. I'm So Dizzy was very slow to begin 3 lengths. Lup Chong checked off Vizzari on the first turn. Hotlips Matilda checked off Nitro Princess approaching the second turn. Mrs. Fozz, Nitro Princess and Spring Hombre collided on the second turn checking Mrs. Fozz. Mrs. Fozz crossed to the outside entering the home straight and stumbled and lost ground as a result. Nitro Princess and Spring Hombre collided several times in the home straight.
Mrs. Fozz was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left shoulder injury and a right groin injury. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.
