Steward's Report
Oscura was slow to begin. My Bro Fabio and Flying Twist collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Oscura checked off Warrior King approaching the first turn. My Bro Fabio and Flying Twist collided approaching the first turn checking Flying Twist and Oscura. Ralphy Cinel checked off Eliza Blanche approaching the first turn. Oscura and Ralphy Cinel collided on the first turn. Warrior King checked off Deadly Boy on the first turn, severely checking Ralphy Cinel. Eliza Blanche crossed to the rail on the first turn and collided with Arejay Smokey and Deadly Boy, severely checking Eliza Blanche and Deadly Boy. Flying Twist, Deadly Boy and Warrior King collided on the third turn checking Warrior King and Ralphy Cinel. Arejay Smokey faltered in the back straight and tailed off as a result. Ralphy Cinel checked off Deadly Boy approaching the home turn checking Warrior King.
Arejay Smokey was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right hock, a 30 day stand down period was imposed.
