Unova Bale, Inga Bale and Bounty were slow to begin.  Saint Jane, Spring Candy and Unova Bale collided soon after the start.  Inga Bale, Bounty and Spring Millie collided soon after the start checking Bounty.  Spring Candy checked off Kallara Gem on the first turn checking Inga Bale.  Spring Candy checked off Inga Bale in the back straight checking Unova Bale.  Saint Jane checked off Kallara Gem approaching the home turn checking Bounty.  Spring Candy and Unova Bale collided in the home straight.  Saint Jane and Kallara Gem collided in the home straight.

Spring Candy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained the start of a tear in it's right monkey muscle.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Lektra Outlaw.

Laurie's Chance, Tantrum Tommy, Lektra Outlaw and Jaunty Bale were slow to begin.  Ghost Roaster checked off Creamy Soda approaching the first turn. Dyna Zerg and Lektra Outlaw collided on the first turn.  Ghost Roaster and Laurie's Chance collided on the first turn.  Ghost Roaster checked off Dyna Zerg on the second turn.  Laurie's Chance and Dyna Zerg collided on the third turn.  Tantrum Tommy and Lektra Outlaw collided entering the home straight checking Laurie's Chance.

Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Dailly, representative of the greyhound Tantrum Tommy and issued a warning regarding the greyhound's reluctance to parade to the boxes.

An Out of Competition sample was taken on Tuesday 21st October 2014 pursuant to GAR 79A from Texas Titan which was subsequently scratched from this event.

Tarks Nemesis, Blonde Oasis, Zipping Maggie, Zell Bale and Spring Leaf were slow to begin.  Blonde Oasis, Zipping Magie and Zell Bale collided soon after the start.  Zipping Maggie and Spring Leaf collided on the first turn.  Blonde Oasis checked off Athos entering the front straight.  Tarks Nemesis checked off Arejay Smokey in the front straight.  Zell Bale checked off Spring Leaf in the back straight checking Zipping Maggie.  Zell Bale and Spring Leaf collided in the home straight.

Tarks Nemesis was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 6, it was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to it's right shoulder, left metacarpal, right triangle and right calf.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

An Out of Competition sample was taken from Warrior King engaged in this event  on Tuesday 14th October and Tuesday 21st October 2014 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Warrior King was slow to begin.  Zipping Rory severely checked off Hailstorm Billy soon after the start.  Supersonic Hawk, Hailstorm Billy and Joane collided on the first turn.

Musquin Bale was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 6, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's right calf.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Dailly, the representative of the greyhound regarding the greyhound's seemingly disappointing performance in this event.  Mr. Dailly could offer no explanation.  Stewards directed that a sample be taken from the greyhound.

Samples were taken from the first two placegetters in the event - Eliza Blanche (1st) and Warrior King (2nd).

Matlin's Tornado was quick to begin.  Beks and Mystic Twist collided soon after the start checking Beks.  Matlin's Tornado and Mystic Twist collided approaching the second turn checking Matlin's Tornado and Zipping Joe; Zipping Joe raced wide as a result.  Oscar De Largo checked off Beks on the third turn.  Sweet It Is checked off Oscar De Largo approaching the fourth turn.  Matlin's Tornado checked off Mystic Twist entering the back straight.

Deadly Boy was quick to begin.  Lady Toy was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Zipping Bart, Xylia Allen and Tweak collided on the first turn.  Lou Todd and Dyna Geldof collided approaching the second turn.  Xylia Allen checked off Zipping Bart approaching the fourth turn checking Lady Toy.

Flying Twist was quick to begin.  Inner City, Wind Whistler and Good Odds Demon were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.  My Bro Fabio and Zipping Felix collided soon after the start.  Zipping Felix checked off My Bro Fabio on the first turn.  My Bro Fabio and Amlin Girl collided on the first turn. Cosmic Wise and Flying Twist collided on the second turn.  Inner City and Wind Whistler collided on the second turn.  Amlin Girl, Wind Whistler and Good Odds Demon collided on the fourth turn checking Good Odds Demon.

Hession Boots and Reen's Fabian collided on the first turn and again on the second turn.  Coulta Rock checked off Ralphy Cinel on the third turn.  Dream It checked off Coulta Rock approaching the home turn checking Kiltah Magic.  Kiltah Magic raced wide throughout the event.

Bessy Boo was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Ima Fairytale, Julie Bale and Know Class were slow to begin.  Ima Fairytale and Julie Bale collided on the first turn.  Bessy Boo contacted the running rail in the front straight.  Ima Fairytale and Can Can Hurrican collided approaching the second turn.  Can Can Hurrican, Julie Bale and Know Class collided approaching the second turn.  Can Can Hurrican and Julie Bale collided on the second turn.  Bessy Boo, Can Can Hurrican, Julie Bale and Ima Fairytale collided entering the back straight.  Babylon Club and Skyfire collided approaching the home turn.  Bessy Boo and Julie Bale collided entering the home straight.

Know Class was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to it's left hock, left metatarsals and left calf.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Sign Of Snow, Maximum Lil, Oscura and Quicker Than Al were slow to begin.  Sign Of Snow and Maximum Lil collided soon after the start.  Maximum Lil and Oscura collided on the first turn.  Quicker Than Al raced wide on the second turn.  Gorham Bale raced wide entering the back straight.  Oscura and Gorham Bale collided approaching the home turn.

Maximum Lil was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Hoover Jack was slow to begin.  Hoover Jack checked off Quantum Bale soon after the start.  Thunder Eyes and Hoover Jack collided soon after the start.  Cruiser's Sol and Ousai Bale collided soon after the start.  Ousai Bale checked off Thunder Eyes approaching the first turn.  Cruiser's Sol, Hoover Jack and White Walker collided on the first turn checking Hoover Jack and White Walker.  Scenic Shot and Quantum Bale collided approaching the second turn.
