Lila's Girl, Pulciano and Grand Slam Diva collided soon after the start checking Pulciano, Aston Archer, Lila's Girl and Pulciano collided on the first turn severely checking Lila's Girl and Pulciano, both greyhounds fell as a result. Hashtag Drew and Phaser Bale collided on the first turn checking Hashtag Drew. Phaser Bale checked off Slipaway Curly approaching the home turn checking Grand Slam Diva. Aston Archer raced wide on the home turn and entering the home straight.
Lila's Girl was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right hind. No stand down period was imposed.
Pulciano was vetted following the event. it was reported that there was no apparent injury.
