College Queen was quick to begin. Dyna Zod, Theory's Legacy and Lonesome Nitro were slow to begin. Dyna Zod and Theory's Legacy collided approaching the first turn. Zoltar and Hestia Bale collided on the first turn. Theory's Legacy and Lonesome Nitro collided on the first turn checking Lonesome Nitro. Theory's Legacy and Komondo collided approaching the second turn checking Komondo and Lonesome Nitro. Zoltar, Dyna Zod and Komondo collided on the second turn checking Zoltar. Theory's Legacy checked off Lonesome Nitro in the back straight. Theory's Legacy and Feikuai Molly collided on the third turn checking Feikuai Molly. Dyna Zod and College Queen collided on the third turn. Komondo checked off College Queen on the home turn. Dyna Zod and Theory's Legacy collided on the home turn. Stewards spoke to Mr. T. Dailly, the representative of the greyhound Lonesome Nitro regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Lonesome Nitro with marring. Mr. Dailly pleaded guilty to the charge. Lonesome Nitro was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
