Beks was slow to begin.  Untraceable crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Starc, Allen Wake, Gold Affair Two and Echelonic Action.  Echelonic Action, Gold Affair Two and Allen Wake collided approaching the first turn checking Echelonic Action and Allen Wake. Allen Wake crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Echelonic Action, Shall She Rock and Starc.  Echelonic Action and Starc collided on the second turn checking Starc.  Echelonic Action checked off Gold Affair Two on the third turn checking Starc and Beks.  Starc and Allen Wake collided on the fourth turn.  Allen Wake and Gold Affair Two collided approaching the fifth turn checking Allen Wake.  Gold Affair Two and Allen Wake collided on the fifth turn checking Gold Affair Two.  Flying Twist and Untraceable collided entering the home straight checking Untraceable.  Starc and Beks collided approaching the winning post.

Tantrum Tommy and Quantum Bale collided soon after the start checking Tantrum Tommy.  Ima Screw Loose and Sam Toocan collided soon after the start checking Sam Toocan.  Dina Bale, Tantrum Tommy and Ima Screw Loose collided approaching the first turn.  Sam Toocan and Laurie's Chance collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds and causing both greyhounds to race wide.  Tantrum Tommy and Ima Screw Loose collided on the second turn checking Ima Screw Loose and Gangnam Style.  Sam Toocan checked off Gangnam Style on the second turn.  Gangnam Style and Laurie's Chance collided in the back straight.  Ima Screw Loose and Laurie's Chance collided approaching the third turn.  Sam Toocan and Gangnam Style collided on the third turn.  Ima Screw Loose and Laurie's Chance collided on the third turn checking Laurie's Chance.  Quantum Bale and Soul Maker collided in the home straight.

Tantrum Tommy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's right calf.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Gorham Bale crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Lead Into Demise and Thunder Eyes.  Thunder Eyes and Lead Into Demise collided approaching the first turn checking Thunder Eyes.  Duke Bale and Dyna Chaser collided on the first turn checking Dyna Chaser and Hot Gold.  Dyna Chaser and Duke Bale collided approaching the third turn.  Thunder Eyes checked off Duke Bale on the third turn.  Dyna Chaser, Duke Bale and Thunder Eyes collided on the home turn checking Duke Bale and Thunder Eyes.

Following the event Allen Deed (competing in The Topgun on Saturday 25th October 2014) trialled over the 525 metre distance from box 7, weight 31.8kgs(-0.5kgs).  The time of the trial was 29.63.  The splits are as follows :5.13 & 17.64.  Stewards directed that a sample be taken from the greyhound.

Matlin's Tornado and Acola Rosebud were quick to begin.  Oscar De Largo and Love Affair collided soon after the start severely checking Oscar De Largo.  Matlin's Tornado and Tropical Thunder collided approaching the first turn checking Matlin's Tornado.  Grifter Bale and Love Affair collided on the first turn.  El Chana and Tropical Thunder collided on the first turn checking El Chana.  El Chana and Oscar De Largo collided entering the back straight checking El Chana.  Grifter Bale raced wide throughout the event.

Ballerino and Allen Icarus were slow to begin.  Cobra Bale, Allen Icarus and Hoover Jack collided soon after the start.  Hoover Jack crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Allen Icarus, Cobra Bale and Dyna Glinda.  Hoover Jack, Dr. Rahoual and Gemstar collided on the first turn checking Dr. Rahoual, Hoover Jack and Allen Icarus.  Hoover Jack checked off Allen Icarus in the back straight.

Tweak crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Darbain Dasher, Kayo Marciarno, Athos, Deadly Boy and Heaps Of Ability.  Zipping Bart and Dyna Geldof collided approaching the first turn.  Heaps Of Ability, Deadly Boy and Athos collided approaching the first turn checking Darbain Dasher and severely checking Deadly Boy.  Heaps Of Ability checked off Darbain Dasher on the second turn.  Deadly Boy and Darbain Dasher collided on the fourth turn.  Athos and Zipping Bart collided on the home turn.

Clay Bird and Hooksy were slow to begin.  Radinka Bale and Yoko collided soon after the start.  Allen Gizmo and Yoko collided soon after the start.  Cruiser's Sol, Allen Gizmo and Yoko collided approaching the first turn.  Yoko and Radinka Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Radinka Bale and Hot Whirl.  Yoko, Radinka Bale, Hot Whirl and Hooksy collided on the first turn checking Radinka Bale and Hot Whirl.  Clay Bird and Radinka Bale collided on the first turn checking Radinka Bale.  Allen Gizmo and Yoko collided on the first turn checking Yoko which raced wide as a result.  Clay Bird and Allen Gizmo collided on the second turn.  Radinka Bale and Hot Whirl collided on the second turn.  Radinka Bale checked off Hot Whirl entering the back straight.  Hot Whirl checked off Allen Gizmo on the third turn checking Yoko.

Buckle Up Mason, Crawf's Bread and Dyna Beth were slow to begin.  Buckle Up Mason and Crawf's Bread collided soon after the start checking Crawf's Bread.  Buckle Up Mason and Crawf's Bread collided approaching the first turn checking Buckle Up Mason.  Spring Leaf, Take Charge and Dyna Nico collided on the first turn checking Take Charge.  Buckle Up Mason contacted the running rail on the first turn.  Take Charge and Spring Leaf collided on the first turn checking Take Charge, Crawf's Bread and Dyna Beth.  Banjo Boy and Spring Leaf collided on the second turn.  Spring Leaf checked off Banjo Boy in the back straight.

Smart Maxwell was quick to begin.  Go Mobo and Little Red collided soon after the start.  Rock Domination, Supersonic Hawk and Rumero Reason collided approaching the first turn checking Supersonic Hawk and Rumero Reason.  Rumero Reason and Rock Domination collided entering the front straight.  Hession Boots and Little Red collided on the second turn checking Little Red.  Zipping Joe raced wide on the second turn.  Rumero Reason checked off Little Red on the third turn.  Little Red and Rumero Reason collided on the fourth turn.

Alotta Luck was slow to begin.  Dr. Des and Allen Zentax collided soon after the start checking Allen Zentax.  Lektra Outlaw and Allen Gravion collided soon after the start.  Allen Gravion and Feikuai Zack collided approaching the first turn checking Feikuai Zack.  Dr. Des and Allen Zentax collided on the first turn.  Dr. Des, Allen Zentax, Ghost Roaster and Alotta Luck collided on the first turn checking Alotta Luck and severely checking Allen Zentax.  White Walker checked off Feikuai Zack on the second turn.  White Walker checked off Alotta Luck entering the back straight.  Feikuai Zack and Alotta Luck collided on the home turn, entering the home straight and again in the home straight.

Allen Zentax was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained bruising to it's left hind toe (probable ligament tear).  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

An out of competition sample was taken from Tekki Minx engaged in this event on Friday 17th October 2014 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Under Taker was slow to begin.  Skyfire and Our Shiraz collided soon after the start.  Skyfire crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Girthy and Whistler Bale.  Girthy checked off Under Taker on the first turn.  Our Shiraz and Don Julio collided on the fourth turn.

College Queen was quick to begin.  Dyna Zod, Theory's Legacy and Lonesome Nitro were slow to begin.  Dyna Zod and Theory's Legacy collided approaching the first turn.  Zoltar and Hestia Bale collided on the first turn.  Theory's Legacy and Lonesome Nitro collided on the first turn checking Lonesome Nitro.  Theory's Legacy and Komondo collided approaching the second turn checking Komondo and Lonesome Nitro.  Zoltar, Dyna Zod and Komondo collided on the second turn checking Zoltar.  Theory's Legacy checked off Lonesome Nitro in the back straight.  Theory's Legacy and Feikuai Molly collided on the third turn checking Feikuai Molly.  Dyna Zod and College Queen collided on the third turn.  Komondo checked off College Queen on the home turn.  Dyna Zod and Theory's Legacy collided on the home turn.  Lonesome Nitro veered in the marred the running of Hestia Bale in the home straight.

Zoltar was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained n injury to it's right calf.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Lonesome Nitro was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained to it's right triangle and right calf.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. T. Dailly, the representative of the greyhound Lonesome Nitro regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Lonesome Nitro with marring.  Mr. Dailly pleaded guilty to the charge.  Lonesome Nitro was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and  it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
