Steward's Report
Lemon Patchwork and Joey Valdez were quick to begin. Queen Hera and Texas Titan were slow to begin. Heston Lodge and Dyna Ostrander collided soon after the start. Texas Titan checked off Dyna Ostrander soon after the start. Lemon Patchwork, Money Come Back and American Muscle collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn, severely checking Lemon Patchwork and Money Come Back. Money Come Back crossed out approaching the second turn, checking Lemon Patchwork and Queen Hera.
A sample was taken from Joey Valdez, the winner of the event. Stewards noted that trainer of Joey Valdez, Ben Divirgilio, had a concern with the security of the kennel bay prior to starting the sample process. After considering the matter Stewards were satisfied to proceed with the taking of the sample.
