Steward's Report
Mr. M. Braithwaite, the trainer of Little Mantra redeclared a new weight of 28.2Kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Little Mantra last raced at 27.1kgs.
Oriental Emily, Hogg The Lot and Holy Track were slow to begin. Wicked Wendy, Oriental Emily and Hogg The Lot collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Wicked Wendy severely checking Oriental Emily. Little Mantra crossed to the outside approaching the home turn checking Holy Track. Holy Track checked off Photon Jewel approaching the home turn and stumbled as a result and lost considerable ground.
Oriental Emily was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained grazes to the right foreleg and left hind. No stand down period was imposed.
Holy Track was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a torn right back muscle, a 30 day stand down period was imposed.
