A pre–race sample was unable to be obtained from Impatient Capers, a post–race sample was subsequently taken.

Thunder Pie underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a split webbing. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Jason Stemmer regarding the racing manners of Impatient Capers approaching the winning post. After hearing submissions from Mr. Stemmer, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections.
