Sir Valentino (lost ground entering the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have spike wound to the left hind foot. No stand down period was imposed.
Tudor Folk underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Representative Ms C.Absalom regarding the racing manners of Tudor Folk in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Ms Absalom, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections.
