Steward's Report
Jayville Molly was quick to begin, Silk was slow to begin.
Chapel Road raced ungenerously approaching the home turn, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following event 10 - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to kennel representative Mr. Simon Smith regarding the racing manners of Chapel Road approaching the home turn. After hearing submissions from Mr. Smith, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections.
Blue Bayou lost ground from the over the concluding stages of the event, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right lumbar muscle region. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Shadow's Secret - the winner of the event.
