Cabao Elderberry– New declared weight of 32.6kg, last raced at 31.4kg.
Bakali Migaloo, Concrete Sal and Daisy May were quick to begin. Sir Sugar and Cabao Elderberry were slow to begin.
Lucky Jean (checked and fell first turn), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle and quadriceps muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Concrete Sal (checked first turn), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to representative Mr T. Salpigtdis regarding the racing manners of Concrete Sal approaching the first turn. After hearing submissions from Mr T. Salpigtdis, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
