Kylie Turban and Flywheel Bandit were quick to begin.
Flywheel Bandit underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Samuel Bye regarding the racing manners of Flywheel Bandit on the home turn. After hearing submissions from Mr Bye, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections regarding the greyhound’s racing manners.
Kylie Turban turned it's head outwards on the home turn and in the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Ms Kerry Minne regarding Kylie Turban’s racing manners on the home turn and in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124 Kylie Turban was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Ms Minne pled not guilty to the charge, Kylie Turban was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
