Two reasons turned it's head outwards in the home straight and underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg bruising and spike wound. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Joe Uglietta regarding Two reasons’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Two Reasons was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Uglietta pled guilty to the charge, Two Reasons was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted. 

There were no reportable incidents in the event. 

A sample was taken from Long Way Home upon arrival at the course. 

Mr. Aaron Farley failed to kennel Just A Jester by the appointed kennelling time. A fine of $100.00 was issued pursuant to LR 39.1

Just A Jester – New declared weight of 33.4kg, last raced at 31.9kg.

We Are Cousins – The frequency of racing was discussed with Mr Jason Hardy – Stewards noted these comments.

Hurricane Miami was quick to begin.

We Are Cousins fell after the finish, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a mouth abrasion. No stand down period was imposed.

Mikado Eclipse and Dewana Be Lucky were quick to begin.

Flywheel Bandit underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Samuel Bye regarding the racing manners of Flywheel Bandit on the home turn. After hearing submissions from Mr Bye, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. 

Kylie Turban turned it's head outwards on the home turn and in the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Ms Kerry Minne regarding Kylie Turban’s racing manners on the home turn and in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124 Kylie Turban was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Ms Minne pled not guilty to the charge, Kylie Turban was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Myall Sparrow was quick to begin. Invictus George was slow to begin.

Invictus George contacted the running rail approaching the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg spike wound and split webbing. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Gero Lads fell on the first turn and underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.

Neesa Giblet was quick to begin. Next Teardrop was slow to begin.
