Steward's Report
Project Mayhem was quick to begin. Spellcaster and Major Molly were slow to begin.
Project Mayhem underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no injury reported. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr. Jack Clarke regarding Project Mayhem’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Project Mayhem was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Clarke pleaded guilty to the charge. Project Mayhem was suspended for 28 days at Geeling only and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race sample was taken from Sunset Bar - winner of the event.
