Oni Geisha – Late scratching at 5:37am when Trainer Mr C.Knott reported the greyhound to have a illness (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.

Viking and Motor Head Maxim were quick to begin. Aston Bianca and Saady Goes Bang were slow to begin.

Aston Bianca lost ground soon after the start, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have right shin soreness. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Viking – Stewards were satisfied with the boxing of the greyhound and removed the boxed first endorsement for future events, in accordance with GAR 106.

Tasman Hope was quick to begin. Hang On Peppa and Liberty Fire were slow to begin.

Tasman Hope proved awkward to box. Stewards spoke to Trainer Ms K.Norton regarding Tasman Hope’s boxing manners. After hearing submissions from Ms Norton, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the boxing manners of Tasman Hope unsatisfactory. Tasman Hope must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Big Cohuna and Whisky Nip were slow to begin. Rowdy Rebel and Apollo One were slow to begin.

Apollo One lost ground on the home turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hamstring injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
