Steward's Report
Willow Bale and Tammy McIvor were quick to begin. Eco Bale was slow to begin.
More Boost Rico (contacted the rail in the home straight first time around and was severely checked approaching the home turn) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Eco Bale (turned its head outwards in the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right shoulder injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Ms. Korie-Lee Heinrich regarding Eco Bale's racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Eco Bale was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms. Heinrich pleaded guilty to the charge. Eco Bale must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
