Steward's Report
Orli Bale and Garry Stun On were quick to begin. Rev Rose was slow to begin.
Orli Bale (visibly eased entering the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left calf injury and a right back muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to kennel representative Mr. J. Formosa regarding Orli Bale's racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Orli Bale was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Formosa pleaded guilty to the charge. Orli Bale must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race sample was taken from Silky Sauce - the winner of the event.
