Steward's Report
Snowfest – Late scratching at 7:45pm (6/6/24) when Mr Tristan Dales reported the greyhound to have a foot injury (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.
Little Together was quick to begin.
Little Together (marred Scott Crush approaching the winning post) underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr Murray Collyer regarding Little Together’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Little Together was charged with marring. Mr Collyer pleaded guilty to the charge. Little Together was suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race sample was taken from Flaming Fox - the winner of the event.
