Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Donegal Express.
The event was reschedueled to 11:24am due to remedial works being undertaken on the starting boxes.
Boondocks and Cathy's Dream were slow to begin.
Wild Venus underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a sartorius muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. David Bourke regarding the racing manners of Wild Venus over the final 100m. After hearing submissions from Mr. Bourke, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
A post-race sample was taken from I'm What's Next - the winner of the event.
