Imperial Sash, Super Shanks and Crackerjack Jet were slow to begin.
Super Shanks marred Major Currency approaching 150m mark, approaching the 100m mark and approaching the winning post. Stewards spoke to Mr Carl Haas regarding Super Shank’s racing manners approaching the 150m mark, approaching the 100m mark and approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Super Shanks was charged with marring. Mr. Haas pleaded guilty to the charge. Super Shanks was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
