Hot Saki - New declared weight of 30.1kgs, last raced at 31.7kgs.
A pre-race sample was taken from Hot Saki.
Paw Cardan was quick to begin. Retro Bale was slow to begin. Crooked River began awkwardly and lost ground.
Crooked River (lost ground in the home straight and tailed off (24.81L) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re–examined following race 5 - No apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Ms. Maureen Bloom regarding regarding the overall performance and racing manners of Crooked River throughout the event. After hearing submissions from Ms. Bloom, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Crooked River unsatisfactory. Crooked River must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
