Steward's Report
Mr. Dylan Sharp failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare River Play for racing. A fine of $100 was issued pursuant to GAR 97(2).
River Play was slow to begin.
Annie Coin faltered on the home turn and subsequently pulled up, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left tibia fracture. Annie Coin was humanely euthanised.
A post-race sample was taken from Delta Paws - the winner of the event.
There was no head-on vision available in the front straight for this event.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track on the home turn and deemed it satisfactory for racing.
