Rev Neville cramped in the home straight and underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have cramped. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Acting in accordance with GAR 130, Rev Neville was ordered to undertake a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 130, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

A post–race sample was taken from Blistered Earth – the winner of the event.

Enzo Envy and Aston Iggy were slow to begin. Belsar was very slow to begin (three lengths). 

Aston Iggy (lost ground in the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Hadwin Bale underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have bruising to the left leg. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Representative Mr S.Schlensog regarding the greyhound pulling up prior to the return gate and failing to enter the catching pen.  Stewards noted that Hadwin Bale had failed to enter the catching pen at Ballarat on 10 April 2024 and was issued with a warning on that occasion. Acting in accordance with GAR 129, and being mindful of the safety of Hadwin Bale, other greyhounds in the race, staff, and participants, Stewards were not satisfied with the performance. Hadwin Bale was placed on a Satisfactory Trial under GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, with the condition that the greyhound must run past the return gate in order to clear the Satisfactory Trial, before any further nominations are accepted.

A pre–race sample was taken from Yash Bale. 

Aston Aurelia was quick to begin. Rolling Storm, Squeaky Carroll and Rev Querida raced wide in the home straight.

Shaka Big Tonks was quick to begin. Betsie Bale and Orbit Bale were slow to begin. Shaka Big Tonks raced wide approaching the winning post. 

Stewards spoke to Representative Mr M.Bewley regarding the racing manners of Shaka Big Tonks in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr Bewley, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.

Betsie Bale (fell approaching the first turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right shoulder injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Quest For Magic and Bumpy Gold were quick to begin. Awesome Avenger raced wide in the home straight. 

Fast Love and Sponge Kisses were quick to begin. Our Purple Haze and Oregon Favours were slow to begin. Sponge Kisses and Our Purple Haze raced wide in the home straight. 

A post–race sample was taken from Vincent Bale – the winner of the event. 

A pre–race sample was taken from Donnington Girl.

Son Of Cindy was slow to begin. 

Jimmy The Pumper (lost ground approaching the second turn and tailed off) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Aston Arielle (severely checked and fell approaching the first turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to the head. No stand down period was imposed.

Pursuant to GAR 75(6), Kennel Attendant Mr P.Brennan did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way affected the outcome of this event.

Blackpol Slade was quick to begin. Grace's Entity was slow to begin. 

Myrniong Storm (severely checked with Blackpool Slade and fell turning into the home straight), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have diarrhoea. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

My Boy Robert, I'm Only Human, Galloping Jimmy and Myrniong Stitch were quick to begin. Fleur Bale and I'm Only Human were slow to begin. 

Hail Zeus was slow to begin. 

Peregrine Flyer – Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 106.

A sample was taken from Classy Kayla upon arrival at the course.

Fireworks – Late scratching at 4:47pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to elevated temperature. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
