Steward's Report

Be A Character was quick to begin. Mega Banjo Boy was slow to begin.

Hot cross turned it's head outwards entering the home straight and again in the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Joe Uglietta regarding Hot Cross’s racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Hot Cross was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Uglietta pleaded guilty to the charge. Hot Cross was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
