Stewards spoke to Mr Harley Whelan regarding the racing manners of Chewbacca in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr Whelan, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections. 

Stewards spoke to Ms Kaylah Thorburn regarding the racing manners of Ross Street Pete on the first and home turn. After hearing submissions from Ms Thornburn, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action. 

Following the event, Dr. Rounder displayed mild signs of Post Exercise Distress Syndrome (PEDS). As a result, the greyhound underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to be displaying clinical signs of ataxia/hypermetria. No stand down penalty was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms Jennifer Gill, the representative of Dr. Rounder, and advised her that the greyhound would be closely monitored in future starts. 

Stewards conferred with the judges regarding the margin and finishing times for first and second between Our Yogi and Ponting. A margin was visible in the photo finish image with the actual finishing time for Our Yogi 25.0571 and Ponting 25.0580. However, as FastTrack is limited to displaying three decimal places, both times were automatically rounded to 25.058, and as such no margin is displayed in FastTrack. 

Minh Nardo, Anchor Belle and Ruby's Bingo were quick to begin.

Stewards spoke to Mr Donald Hay regarding the racing manners of Anchor Belle approaching the winning post. After hearing submissions from Mr Hay, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.

Stellar Career was quick to begin. Dr. Rodrigo, Zipping Bowie and Dr. Deites were slow to begin.

Zipping Bowie contacted the running rail on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a abrasion to the left front foot. No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards conferred with the judges regarding the margin and finishing times for second and third between Victory Bazooka and Elarna Bale. A margin was visible in the photo finish image with the actual finishing time for Victory Bazooka 24.9436 and Elara Bale 24.9440. However, as FastTrack is limited to displaying three decimal places, both times were automatically rounded to 24.944, and as such no margin is displayed in FastTrack.

Victory Chad was galloped on by Gilbert Rose on the first turn, Victory Chad subsequently fell and underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.

A post–race sample was taken from Bon Rose – the winner of the event. 

Hunter's Choice was quick to begin.

Lakeview Benny was severely checked on the second turn and subsequently lost ground, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg back muscle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Okay Boomer and Aston Sunset were quick to begin. Maximum Lyn and Maximum Moreland were slow to begin.

A pre–race sample was taken from Whisky Ninja.

Whisky Ninja went up with the lids at box rise.

Sunisa Bale faltered and subsequently tailed off, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track on the second turn and deemed it satisfactory for racing.

Madalia Zoom was salow to begin.

A post–race sample was taken from Xile Bale – the winner of the event. 

Wally – New declared weight of 33.4 kg, last raced at 32.3 kg.
