Out of competition samples were taken from Palawa King, Zulu Blast and Dewana Sensation on 21 February 2024, from Misty Black, Drill Sergeant and Lena Jinx on 22 February 2024, and from Zinzan Chopper, Redeemer Blue, Tan And Black and Osanna Sensation on 23 February 2024, pursuant to GAR 139.
A sample was taken from Zinzan Chopper upon arrival at the course.
Palawa King was slow to begin.
Post-race urine and blood samples were taken from Palawa King - the winner of the event.
Post-race samples were taken from Drill Sergeant (2nd) and Misty Black (3rd).
