Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Pickled Piper.
Pickled Piper and Zinzan Chopper were slow to begin.
Pickled Piper underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left long head triceps injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. David Crawford regarding Pickled Piper's racing manners turning off the back straight on the second occasion. After hearing submissions from Mr. Crawford, viewing the available race footage, and having their own observations, Stewards were of the opinion Pickled Piper became unbalanced and shifted out making contact with Rollin' Free. Stewards took no further action.
