Steward's Report

Madalia Tipper – Late scratching at 13:50 due to non–arrival (GAR 86 and LR 39). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Ms Kathleen Fogarty informed Stewards that she had a vehicle breakdown on–route to the track. Stewards advised Ms Fogarty that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 72 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival. The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence.

The 28 day stand down was removed from Madalia Tipper after Ms. Fogarty provided Stewards with sufficient evidence of the vehicle breakdown.

A pre–race sample was taken from Best Of colour.

Bucket Of Oil, Perfect Tonight and Kamali were slow to begin.

The announcement of the All Clear was delayed for the Stewards to review the positioning of the lure throughout the event due to an issue with the lure control module. After viewing the footage and having their own observations of the event, the Stewards were comfortably satisfied that no greyhounds were advantaged or disadvantaged so as to affect the outcome of the Event. The All Clear was posted.

There was no head on vision available in the home straight.
