Winter Storm and Aston Plus were slow to begin.
Swift Robert underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg triangle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms Nicole Lund regarding Swift Robert’s racing manners in the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Swift Robert was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms. Lund pleaded guilty to the charge. Swift Robert must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
