Steward's Report
Cal's Candy and Mincher Magic were quick to begin. River George and Pirate's Brew were slow to begin.
Cal's Candy (turned it's head outwards and visibly eased in the back straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. Jeff Gorgioski regarding Cal’s Candy racing manners in the back straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Cal's Candy was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Gorgioski pleaded guilty to the charge. Cal's Candy must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
