Steward's Report
In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed ‘Heat Affected’. At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 21.2 degrees and the kennel temperature was 18.1 degrees. Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue, as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy.
Trainer William Robertson was issued with a warning for bringing another greyhound on–course that was not engaged in the race meeting, without the permission of Stewards – GAR 84.
Kat's Comet and Aston Sanur were quick to begin. Fox And Friends was slow to begin.
Thai Rocket - faltered and lost ground first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right tricep muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
A post -race sample was taken from Kat's Comet the winner of the event.
