Steward's Report
Mr A King requested an early race endorsement for Elusive Barb. Stewards approved the request after an examination prior to racing by the on–track veterinarian. Elusive Barb will compete in early races until further notice.
Miss Verdansky and Market Scooby were quick to begin. Extremley was slow to begin.
The announcement of the All Clear was delayed for the Stewards to review the race footage after two birds alighted on the home turn and contacted the lure arm as the greyhounds approached. After viewing the footage and acting on their own observations, the Stewards were comfortably satisfied that no greyhounds were materially affected so as to affect the outcome of the event. The All Clear was posted.
