Ando's Jae (visibly eased in the home straight), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have left split webbing. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Representative Mr D.Boots regarding Ando's Jae’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Ando's Jae was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Boots pleaded guilty to the charge. Ando's Jae was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Leroy's Girl was quick to begin. Missin' The Bug was slow to begin.

A post-race sample was taken from Our Titan - the winner of the event.

Aston Maddox and Annie Mikado were quick to begin.

Zeni Bale and Lady Merle were slow to begin.

Explicit was quick to begin. Gunai Bold raced wide in the home straight.

Shima Dream (stumbled and lost ground soon after the start), underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.

Post–race samples were taken from Explicit (1st) and West On Strobe (2nd).

Pursuant to GAR 75(6), Parade Ms S.Evans did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way affected the outcome of this event.

Riendo was quick to begin. Dr. Falkor was slow to begin.

Here Comes Milli – Late scratching at 5:56pm due to weight variation (GAR 101). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr D.Douch was fined $100.

Short And Stumpy was quick to begin. Packham Prince and Quest For Pace were slow to begin. 

Post–race samples were taken from Got Attitude (1st) and Short And Stumpy (2nd).

Fernando Phil was quick to begin. Super Shanks was slow to begin.

Burn Along (stumbled and lost ground in the back straight), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left wrist sprain. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Post–race samples were taken from Smooth Plane (1st) and Fernando Phil (2nd).

Racing was indefinitely delayed at 9:23pm due to several track lights failing just before the scheduled start of the race. Remedial work had to be undertaken on the track lighting before racing could recommence. Track maintenance staff rectified the issue with the lighting being deemed suitbale for racing at around 9:50pm. Race 9 jumped at 9.55pm.

Professor Snitch was slow to begin.

Post–race samples were taken from Flying Zulu (1st) and Tattooed (2nd).

All races were amended to the following times:

Race 10: 10:17pm

Race 11: 10:32pm

Race 12: 10:47pm.

Trainer Mr J.Gorgioski was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for Kentucky Gus, pursuant to GAR 88. 

Aston Aurelia was quick to begin. Twilight Style was slow to begin. 

Ripper Riley (severely checked and fell on the first turn), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right wrist injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

There were no reportable incidents in this event. 

Hartley Bale was quick to begin. Got A Principle was slow to begin.
