Glorious Glory – New declared weight of 29.3kg, last raced at 31.0kg.
Code Cracker – Late scratching at 10:26am on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to a left back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. Davis regarding Code Cracker's injury when presented for racing at todays meeting. Stewards reminded Mr. Davis of his obligation to ensure a greyhound is free of injury prior to the appointed scratching time, pursuant to GAR 76(1)(a). Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance before any future nominations will be accepted, pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w). Mr. Davis stated he intends to retire Code Cracker.
Buckle Up and Miss Mumby were slow to begin.
