Steward's Report
Get A Grip and Italics were quick to begin. Zipping Clooney was slow to begin.
Italics was checked and lost ground on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left long head triceps muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Lindsay Fulford regarding the racing manners of Hay Riley on the home turn. After hearing submissions from Mr Fulford, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
