Blinkin' Blue (severely checked and fell approaching the first turn), underwent a post-race veterinary examination. It was reported that the greyhound was found to have a fractured right tibia and fibula, and an injury to the right Achilles tendon. Blinkin' Blue was humanely euthanased. (Updated 2/04/24)
Elite Jet (severely checked approaching the first turn), underwent a post-race veterinary examination. It was reported that the greyhound was found to have a right hamstring muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
