Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Come Catch Me.
Conspired and My Slick Rick were slow to begin.
A post–race sample was taken from Rumour Not Fact – the winner of the event.
Rumour Not Fact (racing manners approaching winning post) and underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have right foreleg and right hindleg sesamoid injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Geoffrey Howell regarding the racing manners of Rumour Not Fact approaching the winning post. After hearing submissions from Mr Howell, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections.
