Steward's Report
How High Conga and Ribero were quick to begin.
Arkstorm was checked and lost ground in the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Brett Mackie regarding Arkstorm performance in the home straight. In accordance with GAR 122, the Stewards requested Mr. Mackie to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Arkstorm in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
Galloping Dianne was severly checked and subsequently pulled up in the back straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right stifle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track on the first turn and deemed it satisfactory for racing.
