Hadwin Bale was quick to begin. On Song Ice was slow to begin.
Stewards spoke to representative Mr R L Church regarding the greyhound pulling up prior to the return gate and failing to enter the catching pen. After hearing evidence from Miss R L Church, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards issued a warning.
