Steward's Report
Tyrant Tyrian, Bekere and Archer One were quick to begin. Dr. Diablo went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.
Stewards spoke, via telephone, to Mr Danny MacDonald, the trainer of Swiper after he left the course today without the permission of Stewards and without having the greyhound examined by the On-Track Veterinarian following the event. Mr. MacDonald was issued with a warning pursuant to GAR 94(2), and directed to return to the Traralgon Greyhound Racing Club for a veterinary examination. Swiper contacted the running rail approaching the first turn and underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
