Steward's Report
Get Down Remy – New declared weight of 29.1kg, last raced at 27.4kg.
Zapper Bale was slow to begin.
Get Down Remy checked and lost ground on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left quadriceps and satorius muscles. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Ms D Carr regarding Get Down Remy’s performance and racing manners on the first turn. After hearing submissions from Ms D. Carr, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Get Down Remy unsatisfactory. Get Down Remy must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Little Tic racing manners home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr J Caulfield regarding the racing manners of Little Tic in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr J Caulfield, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections.
